Multiagency Early Risk Intervention Tables (MERIT) - Ottawa

The development and deployment of the Multi-Agency Risk Intervention Table (MERIT) model in the nation’s capital represents one of the largest urban applications to date of risk-driven collaborative approaches to CSWB.  Piloting in the southeast part of the city, but often encountering situations from across the national capital region, this is a highly disciplined and high profile model.  In addition, many of the partners involved have also deployed a Multi-Agency Approach to Problem Addresses (MSAPA), and the intersection of these and other collaborative models have provided learning and new insights locally and for interested practitioners everywhere.
